How to Handle Our Children Wanting What Other People Have
Have you ever found yourself thinking:
Why are they never satisfied with what they already have?
Am I being too strict?
Am I holding them back?
Should I just give in?
What if they feel left out?
What if I'm not giving them enough?
Whether it's a toy, a phone, a privilege, a social opportunity, or something else entirely, most parents eventually face the challenge of their children wanting what everyone else seems to have.
But what if the thing they're asking for isn't actually the real issue?
And what if your emotional reaction to their request is revealing something much deeper than parenting?
In this eye-opening webinar, we explore:
✨ The hidden fears that often get activated when our children want something we can't—or don't want to—give them
✨ How these same emotional patterns may be affecting your finances, career, relationships, health, and spiritual growth
✨ The surprising reason children often aren't really asking for what they appear to be asking for
✨ A completely different way to navigate these moments that can transform both your parenting and your relationship with your child
We made this interactive, tackling some of the challenges our community is currently facing and giving insight into what's really happening beneath the surface!
You may discover that the toy, phone, privilege, activity, or opportunity was never the real problem.
And once you see what's underneath, you'll never parent these situations the same way again.💓
Oh, you did!
Ladies, you beautiful ladies!
Hello!
You guys!
I swear I saw a man just pop up. Did we have a man in the house? Did I see a bald man, or am I seeing things today?
You're like, yeah, my husband was just here, popping on. Oh my gosh, hilarious.
Tell me something. How you doing?
Oh my god!
Life.
Life is life, man!
Life is lifin'. The kids are lifein', it's summer.
You know what I texted my husband last night? I said, your reflections got reflections, bro.
That's how I feel.
Your reflections got baby reflections that got baby reflections.
God.
Yeah.
Good luck! I'm just kidding. This has been… it's been a busy start to summer, I feel like.
Yeah, I agree.
The energy is fast in summer.
Yes.
It's like, I was just talking to a girlfriend yesterday, like, the sun doesn't go to sleep till 9.30, and I feel like our ability to get our children to bed at a reasonable hour, we're just out way too late. It's like, it's crazy. We need to rain it in a bit over here.
I used to love the slowness of summer, but now that I have a driver, it's like… it feels like chaos. Like, I'm just trying to manage, where are you now? What are you doing? What's your plan?
I do, but I go to bed way before she comes home, so that's sort of, like, my husband's… manages that part, but I still manage it in my head, which is… I was reflecting on this morning, because I don't sleep good, and I know I'm, like.
There's that piece of me, like, did she make it home okay?
100%. Mommy doesn't actually ever… Until all of her ducks are home.
Yeah, nobody told me that.
Nobody prepared us for that!
Yeah.
I can't imagine, because it is late, like, curfew… what is her curfew, like, midnight?
It's 11… it's 11. It's 11 here at my house.
Yeah.
Until she… until she asks for a different one, I'm keeping 11.
Love that for you.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh, yeah, I… I'm unprepared for that. I'll be coming to you for advice.
Yeah.
Your reads for…
It's definitely a different season than the little ones.
Definitely. Definitely. Oh my gosh.
Hi! Hi! That might have been my bald man you seen.
How was it? Hello!
We… somehow we got our Zoom accounts, like, they're, like, synced, where if I log in to, you know, his will pop up, and mine will pop up, and I'm like, I don't know how to change it.
Come hang out with us gals over here!
I know.
What is happening? Is he at work?
Yes.
Oopsie daisies!
I'm like, sorry, that's me!
Oh my gosh, perfect. Oh, well, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome. Okay, today is gonna be a good one. I thought we were doing body symptoms, but we're not, so everybody that felt confused on that, I was a week ahead, we're doing body symptoms next week. So today, we're gonna go over… how to handle our children wanting what other people have in the world. This is something that… I don't care who you are, you will struggle with if you have children. They are… it's a very natural human instinct for not only us as adults, but our children to look over and see what other people have, and immediately kind of what it looks like energetically is create that rip or tear or hole in their energy field by going, I can't have that, I will never get that, they want what I have, kind of some of those lines of thinking. And I think as… parents, what I've seen with one-on-one clients, what I've seen with working with so many people, and what I've seen with myself as a mother in real life community is we latch onto that, and we make it about us, right? We go, like, oh, we're a crappy mom, oh, we're not bringing… we're not giving them everything they want, or even you can sync up with them and be like, yeah, I really do wish we had that, you know, like, that really sucks that we don't have the land, we don't have the whatever you're looking at. And we can kind of create this sinking hole in our own energy field, or in their energy field, right? It can be kind of a combination of things happening, right? They can just have it, and we can just be watching our children go through it and go, how do we help them through this? We could be having the same hole in our energy field, and we're like, we need to get this fixed, too, because we're both mirroring each other, and it's becoming… a family thing, right? That we feel like we're having this scarcity thought, this scarcity feeling, this feeling of lack, like, we don't have it all, we don't get to have it all, all of these types of feelings, and it's just important to have this level of awareness, and again, no matter how old your kids are. They're going to deal with this from a very young age up until they are grown men and women, right? Because even us, are we dealing with this? Are we dealing with jealousy, envy, wanting what other people have? Yes, and it's something to keep a tab on so that it doesn't grow louder and louder and louder, it doesn't compound over time, and there's just a lot of… we'll go through a lot of examples today. But there's just a lot of… junk you're gonna recruit in if you don't catch these types of thoughts, right? And if you can teach your children this at a really young age, it's gonna set them up for life, because they will… it's kind of something that will keep showing its head, keep popping up over and over and over again, and if you give them the tools to have them equipped to deal with some of these scarcity thoughts, it is going to ripple out to everyone around them, right? It's going to ripple out to coworkers, it's gonna ripple out to other students, it's gonna ripple out to their kids, and it's all… this whole generational impact of kind of having your eye on this one skill set that they're going to use repeatedly, and really owning it yourself as the parent, but also helping them navigate it as well.
Okay. Real quick in the chat, does anybody have something that they're dealing with with a child right now that they are kind of fixated on? Whether that is somewhere they want to go for college, right? And feeling like they don't get to have that. I remember when I was thinking about going to college, my dad had lost his business… building business, our family had to move to one of his spec houses in the middle of nowhere, and I had always wanted to go to a college that had a dorm room. I always wanted to, like, have that gal experience, be away from home. Like, I was so ready to get out of the doors of my home. My home was very just energetically chaotic, I could feel that. I just wanted to spread my wings. And I remember my dad straight up looking at me and being like, you're not going to a college with a dorm. Like, we don't have that type of money for you. But he said it in a way that wasn't, like… endearing, right? Like, I'll hold your space, I'll hold your feelings. He just was, like, very crass and very, like, you're not going. And I… remember having a huge blow-up, like, I yelled, like, I screamed, I was crying, and he took it, like… I can look at this now, but he took it like I'm a failure, so he got mad, he got angry, he got volatile, he threw things, and then I went into my normal cycle of, like, wow, maybe you just, like, rocked the boat again. Like, it's not his fault that he lost his business. I knew it was coming from a place of shame. So then I went back into my people-pleaser mode, apologized, all of it, but again, what was that feeling? I don't get what other people have. Right? And sometimes that's really the case, right? There was nothing I was gonna do that was gonna allow me to have that dorm experience. It was off the table. Like, it was nothing, right? Like, if I wanted to get out of my house, what I did was I picked up 3, 4 different jobs. I was at an Applebee's waitress. Have you guys ever heard me talk about that? Worst job ever. I am not a waitress, let me tell you that. People would be like, I want ribs, and I'd, like, give them riblets. I was like, they sound the same to me, I don't know, but can you enjoy your ribs? I don't know. I was the worst waitress ever, I really, truly was, but I picked up waitress, I was the Boys and Girls Club lead teacher, I was doing all these different things, and I got a townhouse with my two girlfriends, but it was me literally getting out of balance, hyper-focusing on it, and almost being like, I'm gonna prove you, and you don't actually tell me what I'm gonna do. Like, I'm gonna leave the house whether or not you want me to. I'm just gonna find my own way, right? And even after college, right, or maybe even in the middle of college, you could see everyone have their dorm experience, right? Everyone had the fun pictures, you got to see everyone go off and, like, get dropped off and all this other stuff. There was such a lack inside of me that was, like, so angry, so jealous, so, like, I want that experience, and it's taken from me, right? Like, I have to do it the hard way. I have to go and pay for all my stuff, I have to… whatever. It was… it was something that I had to go over, and had I known the skill sets we're gonna talk about today, it would have been a lot easier on my energy field, right? Like, it would have been a lot easier on understanding the parent dynamic, and where they were coming from, all of it. It would have been… from a much more balanced space, but again, all learning lessons, right?
So, can you guys think of something that your kids are dealing with? Or something that you guys are even seeing within their life, maybe they're not cognizant of it, maybe they're not conscious of it, but you're seeing this very big scarcity mindset, lack mindset within their field that you're picking up on, like, as a mom, going, I would love to help them walk through this. Anything coming up right off the bat that you're just kind of witnessing within them, or maybe something even in the past?
Yeah. Wants every… there's always one. Am I right? Like, there's always one that just likes to just… rock the boat. I love that. And it's your youngest. It's usually, I feel like, the oldest. That's your youngest. That's great.
Yeah, us too, I mean, we… one thing that we've been dealing with a lot within our kids is that we came from a really… it wasn't a small town, but, like… humble beginnings back home in Wisconsin, like, country town, like I said, my dad and mom, like, when we lost our business, my mom was pouring, like, extra milk into the ranch. Like, we had humble beginnings. You know, Tyler's family was not wealthy, and where we moved in Utah, like, our friends here are… our people that we're surrounded by are, like, millionaire and billionaires. So our kids have had a big adjustment, and one of the things that we're working through is just going off to other people's houses and having it be these estates, having it be on 12 acres, having it be every child has a dirt bike, and multiple ones, you know? And my kids are witnessing that, and going, why don't we get that? You know, what's going on with that? Or why can't… so, and their mindset of, like, why can't we just, like, buy a boat? I'm like, well… hold up, you know? So it's something that we are navigating together as a family, and I think it's normal, and that's why we're gonna go over it today, is because… this is typical for every kid, especially when you're dealing with things that they are seeing in other children, and it's just gonna help overall.
Who's talking? Someone have something to say? Or, oopsies.
Ashley said, my oldest wants so bad to make her business take off and make a ton of craft. She wants the stuff, but doesn't want to do the work to sell it.
Yes, Ash. That sweet little lady, right? Those are good learning lessons. Mine are the same, my oldest two asks for everything constantly. Can we get ice cream? Can we have squishies? What is a squishy? Enlighten us! Is it those pillows that have the faces?
Trying to get back on here. No, they're like the little, like, needles, like, just the…
Oh my god, am I out of it? Like, like a stress ball?
Kinda, yeah, but they're, like, sold out every… apparently they're the huge thing right now, and I hate them. We've gotten, like, one one time, and they popped them so fast, and I'm like, nope, we're not getting any more, like, we're not doing this, but calm.
Is there, like, gel or liquid in it, where it, like, gets… oh my gosh.
Nice.
They haven't made their way to Utah yet. Oh my gosh. Price gauging of squishies.
Seriously!
What the heck, you guys? We're out of it over here! We haven't… squishies haven't made their way to Utah, or to where my kids are. That's hilarious. Yeah, so things like that, right? And they're… it's like a hyperfixation. And because they feel like they can't immediately have it, it creates, again, this scarcity and lack within their field, then we know what happens. What happens when we embody an emotion. Gets pushed out, right? And what do they start to attract in?
Come on.
Same… the same of what they're more like, more scarcity.
So, again, that can look like, for them, wanting more stuff. Right? So if they're already sitting with that lack and that scarcity in their field, they might continue to create more wants, right? Everywhere that they go, they're seeing this. Everywhere they go, they're going, I want more playdates, or they're just… they're hyper-focused on what's going on around them, and that want for things is increasing, increasing, increasing, increasing, right? To food, to vacations, to where they're going, even to daily stuff, right? Like, not physically having tangible things, but going very vocally, I don't want to do that today. I want to go off and do this, right? I don't want to go to that park. I want to go to this park, like, that… I want, and I want you to hear me, you know, like the, I want to go to this park, I want to… have this for dinner. I didn't say I wanted that for dinner. I don't want spaghetti for dinner. I want to have this for dinner, and they're now just creating this type of energy where they're… want for things, and their vocalizing of it is getting louder and louder and louder and louder, and what does it feel like as mom? We're like, damn, like, I can't give you everything, like, I've got 3 other people here that I need to feed, or I have, you know, like, you start to get this feeling of, like, come back to reality, you know what I mean? Or if you're… a lot of moms get, like, where are you… where's your gratitude, right? Like, where's your gratitude that I'm making you, right? This fresh dinner, and out of my mouth is like, where's your gratitude that, like, you eat so well, you know? Like, mommy's making you food from scratch! And if you can… you can get into these desperation places, too, of being like, you know some other kids just have fast food every night, or you know some other families just do frozen dinners, like, this is homemade bread, this is homemade salsa, this is homemade this, and you can get into this, where is your gratitude? Attitude, right? And it's this pivot moment where we make it about us. We go, your lack, your… dip in your energy, now is my fault. Right? And what are the thoughts that come after that?
I'm not a good mom.
Not a good mom, right? I should have taught them gratitude more. Maybe I should order some of those gratitude journals and make it a morning meeting that we do where everyone lists how grateful they are, and have I taught them well enough? Am I showing them how grateful I am in everyday life, right? Do I have an entitled child? Right? And also, like, layers and layers underneath that is this, I want appreciation. Listen here, I'm doing so much. Do you see all that I'm doing? Do you see that I am working? Do you see that I'm parenting other children? Do you see that I'm trying to… have a house that is nice, and clean, and neat, and tidy. Do you see all the stuff I'm doing right? And it's this bitterness, it's this anger. And what I want you guys to start sitting in the awareness of is… when we start to take it on ourselves as mom, it can go a lot of different angles, right? It can go into a lot of different emotional imbalances, and it's based on your perception of it. Right?
So, for example, if you… feel this lack in your child, if you feel like they're want, want, want, want, want, you can start going, I'm frustrated, they are not grateful for what they have. Right? And again, it's going, I'm scared that I have raised an entitled child, I feel unseen for everything that I have sacrificed for, I want appreciation, I want knowledge or acknowledgement, and I'm worrying that somehow I have failed as a mom. Right? That is one kind of, like, underlying feeling of going, I'm so annoyed with them that they aren't grateful for what they already have.
It could be a complete different angle where you go… I'm so sick of them repeatedly asking me this, right? That I'm just gonna give in, because I don't have the mental stamina to keep up with this argument, right? How many of us have done that, where you're like, I am burnt out, right?
My daughter knows she can come to me because she can wear me down, but I'm getting better.
We all know that's my Brooks, too. He's like a master negotiator! I'm like… man, I'm pretty good, you know? Like, I'm good, I got a lot of skill sets, but you can… you can just… you can just get on in there, you know? Love those children, but we do, we're gifted the kids that we need to have, right? To stand up strong and sturdy and gain the skill sets that are gonna mold us into the person that we need to be.
But this eventual, I'll just give in, right? What is the underlying layers of, I'll just… let me just take care of this, they'll stop asking, we're gonna be able to move on from this? Can anyone think what would be the underlying layers of that?
Mine is, like, a fear of not being loved.
Fear of not being loved. Like, I won't… she's gonna be mad at me because I didn't let her do something that maybe is not, like, the end of the world, or I didn't give in to something that I can afford, and so therefore… that's, like, that's my love, you know what I mean?
Yeah, like, because you could choose to do it. There's not a physical financial roadblock in the play… in play that you could physically do it. Right? So, yeah, so wanting the conflict to stop immediately. We are so uncomfortable that someone's upset with us. That makes our nervous system feel overwhelmed, and, like, we immediately need to make it right. We immediately need to course correct. You're uncomfortable with your child's big feelings. The discomfort, the disappointment, you don't want to see them in emotional imbalance. Again, probably in the background is, have I taught them all the skills to get back into balance? And it's almost like another little dig in, shame on self, being like, gosh, have I done enough yet? Have I parented them in the way that I want to? The fear of being viewed as the mean parent, right? Especially if you're not on the same page with your partner, who you're trying to co-parent with, if you're the one digging your heels in and being like, nope, I really don't feel good about this, right? And you're scared of that feeling of being that parent. Right? Yep. The big thing in people's marriage and lives is just the… discrepancies between the two people parenting and having to prioritize self and how you truly feel. That's hard, right? Like, it's hard to go, my intuition says, heck no. Like, we're not doing it, we're not going there, and it can be hard to stay true to self when it would be so much easier to disregard intuition and be like, whatever, let's just… whatever. If you feel fine with it, let's just go through with it, right?
That's my biggest struggle. It's that feeling, and it's those moments where I have, I guess, maybe a little bit heightened emotionally, where I can't say she can have disappointment, and that's okay. That doesn't mean anything on me. But you're right, it's that I don't want her to be disappointed, I don't want her to be mad at me, I don't want her to be like, my mom sucks, you know, all those feelings are hard for my nervous system because of how I grew up.
Right, right. And also, like I said, it's that extra tie-in of… did I do enough to help her through those feelings? Do I feel like she has all the tools and the resources, especially since y'all are so enlightened now with emotions and how they create everything, right? It's this extra pressure that you guys are putting on yourselves, being like… did I do enough in that parenting department? Do they know the ramifications? Do they know the pressure? Do they know how big of a deal it is to sit in that. Right? And it's this inability to let go of that control and be like… they will figure it out, they will have… they are smart, they are so capable, they are, on their own journey of making mistakes and learning from their mistakes, and… and it's allowing ourselves to have, again, that surrender and that trust that you did do a good job.
You know what's really interesting is we've had a lot of clients come in that are wanting to have more children. Like, they're teetering between, should I have one more, right? It's like a very common thing, I think, right now at our age, similar ages here. Of, am I done having kids? One of the biggest things that is coming up for their desire to have more kids is, let me restart this and make sure I do a good job now. I didn't do a good enough job. I missed moments, I screwed up, I'm seeing all these different mistakes in the kids already have. Let me do one more run. But they're not consciously aware of it, right? It's just this desire, but when I'm digging, digging, digging deeper, and going… I don't know, I don't know if this is, you know, right now, I don't see there's more children in your soul contracts, I don't… all this stuff. Where is this craving to bring another life in, right? There's all these intuitive numbers you can do, like, will you regret having a kid? Will you be happy if you have another kid? Will… like, there's thousands of intuitive questions you can go through and go down the rabbit hole of asking, but one of the biggest things is, I want to redo. I want to do it right this time.
And is that a balanced perspective, or an imbalanced perspective?
Imbalanced.
Imbalanced, right? Because again, it's going back to this… Your child chose you. Right? My Brooks chose me to be a young 25-year-old, dysregulated mama girl that had no clue what I was doing, right? He chose me, he knew he was coming into that, he knew he was gonna rock my world. He knew it! He knew he was gonna throw Tyler and I into emotional turmoil, be colic for 8 months, we were gonna have to get gritty, we were gonna have to, like, really work through our marriage. He knew that. That was not a surprise to him, that was not a surprise to God, that was not a surprise to Source, and that wasn't a surprise to me, right? Like, in my soul. We were chosen for each other. I wasn't supposed to have him at 30 when I was… got my shiz together. I was supposed to have him when I didn't have it together. Right? And my younger kid, the younger girls that came, they were supposed to come in at that time, too. They weren't supposed to have the dysregulated mom that Brooks had. They were supposed to have the mom that was, like, kind of have a foot in, figuring it out. Right? But we tend to forget. And we tend to feel like, man, did we jip our kids? Man, did we… did we not have it figured out? And even to the point where I've seen women be like, I should not have… brought them in if I couldn't give them the world. And that is an imbalanced perspective. And it's good to remember that, and to hear that, and be like, no, no, no, no, we can't go there mentally. They were supposed to be here at this time, at this place, with these parents, right? Even to… if you had a child with somebody that you didn't necessarily stay with, or you don't love, or you feel like, damn, like, I should have chose a different father for my child. Right? I remember my mom telling me that all the time, like, man, I should have thought about things more before getting married at 18. And I'm like, I was… that's meant to happen, you know? Like, this was meant to happen, walking through people that have been young and have aborted their children, we have a lot of those clients, or gave their child up for adoption, and the guilt and the shame is eating at their soul. Meant to happen. That child came into your womb knowing it was never coming earthside. They knew that. Every single soul knew that. Any child that is given up for adoption knew you were not the one raising them. And with intuition, you can go and have these types of conversations with consciousnesses and really get a grab of all the details, but it's so beautiful, and honestly so peaceful. It's so peaceful to know that our babies know what they're walking into. And it was never a doubt on their mind. It's us and our human self going… man, this is really imbalanced. But when we understand where that piece is coming from, it can help, kind of, balance our scale out.
Does anyone still struggle with that concept? Or does it bring you peace?
It brings me a lot of peace. It's something that I definitely have to remind myself of constantly. You know, because social media, you see it out there, especially, like, that guilt of, oh, I should have done this with my kids when they were little, and you didn't. It's like, that… that was how it was supposed to be.
And this whole, like, I missed it. I missed this stage. I missed this phase. I was too busy in this little time period where I was off doing this, I was off mentally here. You know? And what's really cool, what I've learned, too, with intuition, is you always can go back and experience those same emotions that you think you missed out on. There's a way for you to energetically go back into that timeline, see your baby's face at that age, and relive a moment from that time. We'll have to teach you how to do that one time, because it is really… peaceful, and also to intuitively check, because a lot of our human memories, right, are skewed. So, like, I've gone back during hard times where, like, the time my parents got divorced, right? The time. The only time my parents have gotten divorced. The one time they've gotten divorced. And I was super MIA. Like, I was pregnant with Veda, I was a wreck, I was, like, really enmeshed in their drama together, and… my human self was like, I wasn't a good mom at that time, because my memories are me bawling. My memories are me getting babysitters for someone to watch my kids so I could deal with my emotions. My memories are that I wasn't on the ground playing with them, right? Or I could do this too with, like, being pregnant and being sick, right? Like, my memories are, I'm gonna throw up on you, and you better entertain yourself, and I'm gonna lay on the couch, and I'm gonna sleep. Those are my memories, right? But when you have intuition, you can go in and be like, was that accurate? It's like, no, I was a great mom. I don't remember that, but I am a great mom, and when I go back to those moments and ask the intuitive questions… I always pass with flying colors. Like, my heart, my soul was in it when I asked if my child feeled love. Always. They always felt my love, even when I felt like I was a couch potato, nauseous on the couch, right? Or my mind was somewhere else because I was in a deep, thick situation that was taking so much of my attention. So with intuition, you kind of be like, what's the reality of this? What's the reality check here? Right? And that can be really helpful, and again, bring that piece back to your heart of, like, my human's really imbalanced on this, but here's the facts. And then we can get back into a balanced space.
Yeah, even with miscarriages, they knew they were never coming earthside. They signed up to… to… to have the complications that happened. It's… it can be part reflections, right? So every miscarriage is going to be… a match from your energy field, which is really hard to hear. I… I miscarried between Brooks and Veda, so empathize wholeheartedly, but it's a… it's an ingredient sitting in your field of, I can't, I can't create something long-term and bring it into a full-time vision. And looking back at my life during that time, and for women that miscarry, I can pinpoint where that was coming from. For me, it was always business, right? It was always, I'm not as far as I want to be, I'm not, like, making the money I want to be, I am always just, like, piecemealing it together without feeling like I got to the full finish line. That type of feeling of your crea… it's creative energy, so when anything to do with birth, pregnancy, anything is you feeling like, you… your creativity is stifened. Like, you can't fully bring something to the table. So, infertility, if you can't get pregnant at all, everybody has that sitting in their field, that they don't feel like they can create anything unique and special. They feel like they're doing monotonous jobs that don't really matter, they don't have a purpose in life that really calls for their soul, and then that miscarriage piece is we can't… we may start having that feeling, but we don't have anything to bring it to life. Right? Nausea while pregnancy is, like, rejecting… the, like, rejecting and dismissing that… you do have the skill sets to bring something to life. So, it's all these different reflective tie-ins where you become a match to having an experience like that, but, it's still that the souls that jumped in… they knew that. So, like, on my sole contracts with Tyler, we have 4… babies for kids in our sole contracts. The fourth one was the one that never came earthside, between Brooks and Veda. That doesn't mean we can't go on to have more kids, it's just that it was not… destined. Does that make sense? It wasn't, like, written into Tyler and I's plan. We could still have free will, go off, have another kid, it would be fine and everything, but these three that we have, no matter what happened, no matter what Tyler and I decided to do, we would still have these 3 kids, because it was in our contract. Does that make sense?
So it's really, it's really… it's interesting when you pull up the sole contracts for… kids, marriages, all of that. It's like… it's just really set in stone. You'd have to do a lot to physically get out of that, right?
Any questions on that? We kind of went off on a sole contract baby tangent. But I love babies, so I'm into it.
Okay, so… Eventually just giving in, right? Or starting to feel like they're right. So going back again, tying it back to your kids wanting something, you start to go, well, maybe they're right, maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe they do deserve a longer curfew, maybe they… maybe they are ready for this video game. Maybe… maybe that I need to listen to their intuition, and I'm… and I'm off here, right? That is another feeling that can come up, but the underlying layers of that… self-doubt. Questioning yourself, fearing that you're holding them back, or hurting their… their life choices, or their path in life, or… this is a big one, you're seeking out other people's validation for your choices. So you're like, this teacher has to agree with me. These friends that I have have to agree with me. I've been calling my mom, she's gotta be on the same page with me. I need this validation from those around me to make sure that I'm doing a good job, to make sure that I'm in the right here. Right? And we have a really good podcast episode I did a long time ago, like in the fall, about outsourcing our mothering choices, because it's very easy… and I still fall into this trap all the time… of trying to get everybody else's opinion on something that I'm questioning within self, instead of going internal and being like, nope, my intuition said this, this is what it is, boom, done. Right? Like, I then feel like I need to gather other people's opinions and evidence and data to continue to move forward with that. But what is that, really? It's, I'm scared what people are gonna think of me. I'm scared of what that mom's gonna think of me, because I'm still saying no. I'm scared of what that teacher's gonna think of me. I'm scared of what Tyler's gonna think of me. Scared, worried, nervous, whatever adjective you want to fill in there. It's always, I'm caring what other people are thinking of me, instead of going, I am rooted, I believe in myself, trust myself, and my intuition, right? And that's all… that's enough. That's enough. And again, it goes kind of back to that conversation of… we don't have anything to prove to anyone. Right? If I say that I'm… I don't want… my child to be exposed to this. And I don't need to write you a laundry list of why. I don't need to come up with the reasons why I feel that way. My internal research is enough, period, full stop. But our society around us makes us feel really silly for that, right? But that can be enough, and that can be an embodiment that you have inside of you.
I think family is a big one on that. What parents… they… they are the first to speak up.
They are, right? But again… energetically and scientifically, they can't speak up if you don't have it in your field. You know, which is so hard, because life is so fast, it gets so busy, and in these moments, right? How many parenting decisions do we make in a day? Fast, you know? It's like, we don't always have the time to dissect, is this in my field or not? Do I have this right now? Am I embodying this right now? Sometimes it's just shown to us, right? Yeah, that is really tough.
I think, too, cultivating, when you have that ingredient in your field of… I'm not asking your opinion, you know, like, I don't… I don't… this was a hard transition for me with my mom, because when I first had children, I would go to her for everything. I'd be like, what do you think about this, right? She would come and co-sleep with Brooks, because Zach had never slept a wink on his own, right? Like, she came in and was all… I was so appreciative of her advice. And it shifted when I trained my intuition and got confident in myself. Because I don't ask my mom advice anymore. She's sad about it. She grieves that relationship she had with me, and there's been a lot of conversation of, do you not respect me? Do you not think that I'm intelligent? Do you not think my nursing degree is… enough for you? Within health decisions, right? And I've had to really… do, like we talked about last week, do a lot of mental prep going into the conversation and standing strong. And if… and I've held that ground for long enough that the people, my sisters, even Tyler. Tyler knows that, like, if I feel some way, I'm not asking what he thinks about it, you know? Like, he knows I run my life through my intuition, but it's almost like taking that hard stance and then rooting to it, and then they stop asking. Because they just know you don't go to them.
At the beginning periods, wonky.
If you're getting unsolicited advice… what are you holding? What are you holding? Is it the same ingredient?
No, it's, what is it? It's… you feeling like… you overshare when you are not asked. You're an oversharer, and nobody asks their thoughts, and you kind of feel like you blab it all out, and you're… you're…
In other areas of life, right?
Can also be in relationships, can be in family, can be in career. It's you feeling like you're telling people, essentially, how to live, or what's the best way to live when they never asked.
So, essentially, I'm giving opinions, basically, unsolicited, and so I'm getting unsolicited opinions back.
Correct. And again, that can be in financial, it can… anywhere. It can all… it will, to some degree, still be in relationships, and in your social life, and in your family life. But it's kind of… it's… and remember, it's not that you are actually doing it, it's that you feel like crap about yourself when you overshare and you tell someone what to do, and then you go, did I… should I not have said that in that conversation? Should I not have went there with that person because they never asked? It's you questioning yourself. So they're questioning you.
Okay. Does that make sense? I'm gonna work on that one.
I got work to do! I got stuff to do!
I wanna stop that one, yeah.
This is, actually something Tyler taught me. He… during… he's always just been very high frequency, and you will not… know this man's opinion unless you outright ask it. He's not telling you his political opinion, he's not telling you… he is such a… regulated now, just, like, calm, collective, competent. And we actually recently had a friend, just within the political, who's kind of the opposite, who, like, word vomits and, like, pushes everything on you, and is very… his energy is very, extreme, domineering, just whatever, about politics, and, like, prepping, and what the world's gonna go through, and all this stuff, and he… Tyler said that, Tyler's like, unless somebody asks me directly, I'm not… I'm not, like, getting into it. He's a great listener, he's so calm, he'll take everything you say, and he's super respectful, he'll ask you a million questions, and this guy kind of called him out, and he's like, do you not feel, like, comfortable sharing your stuff? And Tyler's like… no, if I… if I'm asked, I'll gladly share it, but I don't… who am I to tell you how to live your life? Who am I to speak my truth and be like, this is the only truth? Tyler's like, there's a million truths out there, and unless you want to know, you can certainly ask, but I'm not about to… push on you my thoughts and opinions.
And I've always thought that was so… so wonderful, because there… there's been times, obviously, where we all get, like, no, this is the way, you know? Like, I felt like that when I was homeschooling my kids, like, this is the way! You homeschool. The government sucks, right? Like, and you can go on and be like, have you read this book? Have you read this book? Like, blah, blah, blah, blah. And you can do that with, like, eating healthy food. You can do that with all the stuff that you're super passionate about. But again, it's coming from this imbalanced place of, like, I think this, you should too. This has greatly benefited my life, it's gonna benefit your life. But it's like, everybody's on their own journey, and we're not all meant to be in the same spot, nor is it all… beneficial for everybody. Right? And that's a hard thing to, like, get balanced on.
Because, for example, something that I would feel like is my truth is eating whole foods, right? Like, I'm super passionate about food. Super passionate about food. I will… it's like a love of mine. Like, I want to feed you, I want to cook, I… I'm really… I'm pretty set in how I feed our children, blah blah blah blah. But I could look at another family, like, one of our really good friends that bring their kids through McDonald's, and I could be like, oh my gosh, that kid can't function, his development, blah blah blah, and I could start spewing all this stuff about how I feel about it. But intuitively looking in, they're supposed to be there. They're not supposed to be going down the rabbit hole for food, they're dealing with this, this, this, and this, and they are nowhere near on their timeline going through that. And guess what? If I push that on them, if I'm… if I'm, like, doing… they would… they'd be like, this is too overwhelming, I… I… they… it would actually hurt their sole purpose of where they're at. Does that make sense?
I just, like, I can see all the places that I'm doing that. And I don't mean to, because, you know, you think it's good advice, whatever, but…
But now that I'm away… yeah, you can think you're saving people. You know, it can be like, no, this is actually… this is actually, like, we shouldn't do vaccines. You start to feel like, I'm helping you wake up. You know?
Yeah, this is really good, because I am… I have a lot of unsolicited advice from a certain person in my life, my husband, and I've been trying to figure out what that reflection is. Because I'm sick of… I'm to the point where I'm like, I'm sick of it. Like to… I know I'm carrying something, but I can now see where I am doing it.
Yeah. In every part, even if it's, like you said, like, even if it feels very, like, light advice, or I'm just giving conversation, it's… it's not. I can see how it's not.
It's, like, that genuineness and that heart and tension is there. But it's also having the intuitive filters and capabilities to go… they're not ready for this advice. I'm not the one to deliver it. We kind of go through that in Level 3, like, am I the one that's supposed to be sharing about this? And sometimes, like, the way their higher self is orchestrating their timeline, they can't physically go there right now. Like, it's not helpful, and if you… kinda, like… push yourself or force it, it pushes out so much on their timeline, and it also makes them go back, being like, I don't know what it is, but I don't really feel good being around this person. You know, have you guys ever had that, where you give so much advice, and then they're like, ugh, like, that was a lot. And they don't maybe consciously feel that way, but it's just an energetic exchange. But it's something we all do, and it's a good learning lesson for everybody. But it also, a little bit of that, too, is… it's, when we feel that towards others, it's going… I don't feel like they're smart and capable enough to, like, figure out their own stuff.
I'm thinking of this, my husband's doing a 17-mile hike this weekend, and he's summiting, like, the second top, highest mountain in Utah. My husband. My husband is going in lawn mowing shoes. No poles, no backpack, no real plan. And me, I'm like, Lord, help you. Do you know what you're doing, right? Like, you start to get into, like… should I buy you hiking shoes? And it's like, nope, you're gonna learn you're very smart, you are a very intelligent man, you are going to either summit it or not, because you're not gonna be able to get over those stumbling rocks at the top, but it's taking that step back and being like, you're so smart, you will figure it out. You know? And if you don't, you weren't meant to. But it's a hard… it's a hard thing to… it's a hard pill to swallow.
Okay, so, again… the thinking of, like, our children and the lacking, right? We… this first part of it that I want to get into, and maybe we'll do a part two of this webinar, because there was much more I wanted to get over, but we got through some really good stuff today. But, the first part is how we feel as mom when they come to us with these holes and rips and tears in their energy field, right? The first part is protecting self. It's prioritizing yourself as mom and going, oop, am I sitting in a giant reflection right now? Right? Or am I pretty balanced on this? There's a lot we can do to help course correct, and should do to help our children change their mind, change their perspective, get out of the reflection, understand really what's going on, right? It's a lot of layers deeper than they even realize. It's never, never about what they want. Ever. It's always about getting an emotional feeling out of it. So you can get in and go figure that out. But what I want you guys first to deal with in this first part is… what is this revealing about me? Right? I'm noticing that they're sitting in scarcity, I know they're sitting in lack. Am I meeting them there? Am I in scarcity and lack? Am I mirroring that same rip and tear in my energy field? And again, starting to have these very, big emotional imbalances of, I don't feel like I'm being a good enough mom. I feel like my kid is suffering because of these choices I'm making. I'm scared of what everyone's gonna think of me. I'm scared of my children rejecting me, and me damaging our relationship long-term. I'm fearing failing, right? Failing them, and not equipping them with everything that I feel like they need to be equipped with. So it's kind of going, am I meeting them in this kind of space? And how do I go about fixing my energy field first?
Because unconditional self-love that we all need to have for self is going to us first before our children, which is… backwards to what every single other person, teacher, church, everything will tell you. It's always take care of your children first, take care of your spouse first. Backwards. Take care of self first. Unconditional love is prioritizing yourself. Because I'll tell you right now, you go and try to fix your child's reflection, you go and try to be… the peacemaker, the one that's helping them through it, you're gonna do a 50% job instead of a 100, if you don't take care of yourself first. Because you truly can't… your intuition won't be on, your emotional mastery won't be on. Your ability to see patterns, recognitions, your ability to go, what will actually help them see this, right? I have to do that a lot with my kids, like, my human way of trying to explain something is never it. It is always some wonky, backwards, out-of-the-box thinking that I'm like, let's tie in this analogy. My intuition just said, that's going to get them to actually move. It wasn't what I was going to talk to them about. My younger self, I've experienced this too, like, they don't care. Mine don't. But sometimes, you know, that could be the reason, or that could be the it factor, but again, you're not firing on all cylinders if you're sitting in a reflection. So you have to tackle that first. You have to be in awareness of, how am I feeling about this? Let me shift it, let me get back into balance, now let me go help my kid. It's gotta be putting on your oxygen mask first before everybody else. And again, people will tell you the exact opposite. They will tell you that's selfish, they will tell you that's not being a good mom, they will tell you that's not taking care of your kids, but it could not be further from the truth.
And it's a very actual dark force agenda where our society has made it… the cutest, the sexiest, the most responsible, the most mature, to go and burn yourself and take care of everyone else. That's what people say is a high-functioning woman, right? Let's, like, go and literally take care of everyone else in our nurturing state, and forget about ourself. It's praised. It's praised from a very, very, very young age. And so, it's going to take a lot of course correction of going, actually, what's best for my child in this is for me to focus on this reflection myself. They will need to hold for a second until I can sort this out, because they're not getting the best version of me until I get this sorted. Period. Because I literally can't think with my intuition. My emotions, my analogies, what's actually going to resonate with them, when to know when to stop the conversation, when to know that they still need more information on the conversation. All of that goes out the window when you're showing up at 50%.
And you're actually doing them the highest service by showing up at 100%, being like, I am so dialed in to you, baby. We're gonna sort this out, right? That's what they deserve. They deserve you being like, nothing else has my attention, I know exactly how to solve this, I know exactly how we're gonna work through this. I got you. Like, there's no greater feeling for a child than somebody with confidence, with energy, being like, I got you. I got you. We know exactly what's going on. We know exactly how to tackle this. Here's the plan. Right? But when we show up in that frazzled state, that 50% state… it can grow the reflection louder, right? Because if we're not actually getting to it, it's actually growing the reflect… it's actually making a bigger problem for you long-term.
Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
Chelsea, we're saying you get unsolicited opinions all the time. A lot of people do. I mean, you guys are not… not alone. Even, like… if you guys have a social media platform, that's another way. Like, comments that come through that are unwarranted, or emails, reviews, all that you think of. It's really mind-boggling reflections. If you even think of, like, bad reviews, people leave you. Is it really about you? No. It's literally about the person's reflection that they're sitting in. So, as a business owner, anybody that's come in, I'm, like, intuitively looking in, and I'm like, is this really the case? It's like, no, they're sitting in a reflection. I was a match for it, because something's in my field, yes, I'll go take care of that reflection. But that bad review, that comment, was 100% something they were feeling inside. I was just a match to receive it, and I can go in and fix that, but other than that, like, out the window. So it gets really interesting with businesses, social media platforms, and just… you think of… you see all these creators that are, like… this person's attacking me, this per- and they, like, like to, like, put it on their stories, and, like, call them out, and all this stuff, and I'm like, Lord, do you know how energy works? You are, like, literally outing yourself so hard right now. And it's really funny. It's not funny, but it's kind of like… yeah.
Okay, so that's kind of where we're going to stop. I think we'll do a part two to this, because I do want to get into how we actually help our children through this, but again, it's going to be important for you guys to take a look inside first, see this awareness, right? See… see your children going, I want this, I want this, I want this. I want you guys first to go, where am I with that? Am I annoyed of them? Am I irritated? Do I feel guilty? Do I feel like they really should have that? Right? And kind of see where the emotions are, and even listening back to this within the replay, and going through some of the examples that we went through that were pretty specific, like… the… if I eventually give in, it means I want to avoid conflict. I'm discon… or I'm uncomfortable with their big feelings. I don't want to be the parent that's mean. And not the fun parent. So start even going through and going, what are the layers underneath this, not just the feeling I have? Right? And start understanding the layers underneath, so that you guys can start balancing out those perspectives. And at least being in awareness of it, right? If you can even get yourself to be like, oop, my child just wants this, I'm having a feeling towards it, even that full stop of, like… hold on, we talked about this. This is really something… am I matching that? That in itself is a huge step into awareness that is going to absolutely change your guys' lives. Even that awareness piece. Because again, if you can catch that energy dip within yourself, you're gonna go… maybe it's, maybe it's I'm scared of my child's big feelings, I'm scared of their disappointment. You're gonna be able to, at some point, when you guys listen to the replay, and kind of have these different conscious awakenings during, or these light bulb moments, you're at some point gonna go… I'm actually really scared of how my parents view me. I'm actually really scared about what this coworker thinks of me. I'm actually really scared of what God thinks of me. I'm really scared about what… you're gonna start to be like, damn, this is everywhere. This is everywhere, and that's the next click. Right? If you change this, and you see this reflection for what it is, you start to change so many different avenues of your life, financial, career, all this, because you go, wow, this is everywhere. This is something I have embedded that is actually creating a lot of situations to continue to show me this.
And then you… you just think of that alone, right? And you go… I'm scared of what mom and dad think. I'm scared of the coworkers. Think of that. Like, if you changed that energy dip. And all of a sudden you weren't scared of mom and dad, what would your life look like? Like, how different would it be if you were just radically, like… yeah, mom and dad, we're homeschooling. Or yeah, like, we're just… we're doing this. I'm not coming home for Christmas, sorry. And you didn't care, you weren't scared? Would that be life-changing? To not have that stress hang over you? Would that be life-changing, to not be scared of your coworkers, and scared of what they think of you, and scared of being yourself? Would that change your friend group to not be the one that was all like, oh, I'm sorry I said this, oh, are you okay? Did I overshare yesterday? If you were just confident in yourself, would that change every single aspect of your life? The answer to that is a heck yeah. But it… it's not just one little ripple gift, it's a ripple gift in so many areas.
And it transforms so much of your life. And guess what? It starts with those cute little babies just showing ya. Something as small as, I want a Barbie and you said no, can change and ripple and allow you to see things from that 30,000-foot view. And it's so cool that the people in our life, you can get to this point. It's so cool that the people in our life step up and go, hey… there's a little tension here, there's a little imbalance here, we get frustrated with it, but it's actually the greatest gift. And our kids play a big, big part in that. They play a big part in showing us where we're off the beaten path. Because they want us to succeed. They want us to be the absolute best version of ourselves. They want us to be on our sole purpose, changing the world. And they don't give a rip that they're… that we're crabby about it. They're gonna continue doing it, because their desire for us to be ourselves is so much greater than the irritation or the inconvenience we may feel with these little moments. And that's really beautiful. That's really, really powerful.
So, can I ask real quick. On that vein, are we also in those moments, like, because I'm the, oh my god, she's not going to like me, and she's gonna sit in these big feelings, and I don't want to… am I courting in in those moments, too? Want to make it feel better.
Like, when she's having big feelings, are you… yeah, like, if I have to say no to something, I have this, like, immediate, like, oh my god, she's so disappointed, she really wants to do it.
Yeah, definitely.
I'm courting in at that moment.
Because you're feeling her feelings. Anytime that you're going, I feel what she feels, I'm putting myself in her shoes, I… like, because I can even see that you… you know how she's going to feel before she even feels it. So you're already playing out the scenario in your mind, in your body, how you feel it, getting memories stored before it even happens. Your body and brain has already went there. You've already created the outcome. So it's like, you create the outcome. And then you actually live the outcome, and then you're hyperfixating about the outcome after, so you're, like, doing a 3-double whammy to self.
Yes.
That is absolutely, yeah, courting in, and… and, manipulating your energy field.
What is something I can do to kind of start when I feel that? Because…
So, I would make sure that the decisions you're making is our… you're fully rooted, too. So, something I… I'm not sure if we talked about this before, but something that is really helpful, and I work through with a lot of clients, is the pause. It's going, you just asked me a question, I have to do this to Brooks, like… 10,000 million times a day. You just asked me a question, I'm taking 48 hours to answer. You may not ask me that question again for 48 hours. I will come to you with a fully thought-out plan that I'm rooted to. But I can't think about it on the fly right now.
Okay.
I will not be giving you… if I have to answer it, it'll be no. If you need a peer-pressured answer from mom, it'll be a no, and I… just because I can't fully give it the time and attention it needs. Yeah, okay. But I think our kids… can be trained, slash society trains them, slash all of us have this, like, quick, like, we need answers, we need answers now, and it's this massive intentionality behind, I'm not giving you that right now. I need time to think about it. And that's okay, right? Think about this with partners, too. Hey, do you want to do this? Do you want to… do you want to invest in this? And it's like, let me take a week. I'll get back to you in a week. But it's… it's almost training the people around us to be like, I care so much about the decisions I make, especially bigger decisions, that I need to fully do an internal research on it in order to give you the very best answer that's going to align the very best with me. And it's okay to take time, and it's okay to pause, and it's okay to think about it for a long time.
So, I think if you… because that thinking, that intuiting, that sitting with it. And spending time with it is what roots you to that decision. If you don't have that rooting to that decision, it's a fast, quick, you're pressuring me, you're in that energy of, like, ugh, I need to think of an answer now. That's not a rooted answer, nor will you feel like it's rooted. Yeah. You will feel like it's frazzled, peer pressured, it's not really what you want, it's not coming from a secure place, all of those things. And then that's where you start to hyperfixate. Yeah, that hap- yeah, it just happened.
You truly sit with it, and you root to it, there is less opportunity for them to be your inside-out voice, for you to not really think it was the right choice, all of it. You have to get to a point where you go, nope, I would choose this again, this is what it is. Like, you know the energy of your definitive answers. You know the energy of, like, there's not one single thing you would say to me to ever make me change my mind on this. You need to get to that place. Because they know, the kids are so good, they know when we're waffling. They can spot it a thousand miles away, and they're like, she's not secure in this, let's get after her.
Yeah, I almost thought…
Burr!
I had, like, a quick reflection, so my daughter asked to stay the night at a friend's house, and I was like… I said yes, but then she told me a little bit of a sketch situation about it, but I'd already said yes. Where she didn't end up staying the night there. Then la- that was two nights ago. Then last night, she was out. She texted me after I had gone to bed and was like, can I for real stay the night at her house tonight? And I was like, no. No. I'm asleep. I don't know the details. Yep. She felt that uncomfortableness, almost, like, corrected herself, and then tested it again, it feels like. Yeah. I was able to root to it, because after that, I was like, oh no. That was quick, and I told her, I said, you're not allowed to ask. Yep. After I've gone to bed to do something, that is… that is it.
Right. There's the boundary. Yeah. And even, like, my son was asking me this morning on the way to their nature program, he's like, why can't we have sleepovers? We don't do sleepovers at our house. And he's been really, like… why? Why? Why? Why? And it's like, going in with the boundary, and then not allowing it to shift after, because you want to give them the full explanation, though. You know what I mean?
Yes. And we've did this before, where it used to happen, then I set it, and then she'll get better, and then maybe I must do something, because then it starts again, the quick responses, and then I will root to it, so it's this… wave of…
Yeah. Yeah. Yes, it's… she energetically knows where you're waffling, is all that it is. She just knows that you're not rooted to it, and so I think the biggest advice I'd have for you right now is to be okay with the pause, and to start training her… I don't have an answer for you today. We certainly… I can think about it, and I'd love to think about it, and truly have that genuine tone of, like, I can't wait to sit and really work this out for you, and try to come up with a compromise, and try to figure out where I feel about it, because I want to feel that for you, that security for you. But I have so much right now that I need… I need a couple of days to get to that secure place. And if you come to it with this genuine, like… I'm so excited to look into it, and I really want to get you that answer, and I'm gonna do the best that I can to get there for you, but this is the allotment of time that I kind of need for that. If you have that genuine intention, they will so feel it, and I have never had somebody with a client or my own kids that have felt, like, jaded from that. Usually, their answer to that is like, oh, I really appreciate and respect that, A, you have an answer for me, right? Because I used to do that all the time, where I'd be like, I don't know, and then I'd never come back to it, and they're like… mom, you know, like, I need a solidified answer. So, it's… I'm showing them, I'm penciling them in, I'm telling them the deadline that they will receive that answer. And then I'm following through with it.
That's good, yeah, because a lot of times I did used to come with, I don't know, let me get back to you, and then I would just hope it would go away. It never does.
Yeah, it never does, and it's showing… you want, in your field, I follow through on everything I say. I have commitment energy, and the more they feel that from you, the more they trust you, the more they go, at this time of day, she'll have that answer, and then it won't be the questioning in between. If they're questioning in between, they can feel that waffling again. You know?
It's really… interesting. But you can do this everywhere, like, I do this with employees, I do this with… anybody that needs anything from me. If somebody texts me, and I don't have an answer for them, or it's really hefty, I'm like, give me a week and I'll think about it, and I'll get back to you. You know, and it's literally telling people that I don't participate in urgency energy, I don't participate in the fast-pressure society. This is who I am, you can take it or leave it. If you don't want to have a friend that takes a week to get back to you, go find someone else, because this is who I am.
And I always say, too, like, I want to bring you the best of me. The best of me is not urgently replying to your text right now and half-assing it. The best of me is thinking about it for a week. And that's just who I am.
But it, again, is training people. Like, I remember… my dad's girlfriend, too, was so butt hurt that I wouldn't, like, talk, like, text back in a certain 24-hour time, and I had to, like, literally phone call her and be like, hey… I… you're asking what they want for Christmas, it's gonna take me a week, I don't get back to people usually for a week or two, and that's just who I am. So it's… and they appreciate that boundary, though, because everyone else, you gotta remember, in their world… texting back instantly, emailing back instantly. They are in the urgency hamster wheel, so to get somebody that takes time and intention and thought towards what they do, it typically is their own reflection, being like, they're ghosting me. They don't care about me. They're abandoning me. So just to have that boundary down is super helpful on their end.
Yeah, and can avoid… if I work on that, I can avoid probably that feeling of, what are they thinking about me now? Because… 100%. Yeah. Because you're just… you're putting that out for everybody. Yeah, so, yeah.
Any, like, even new friends I'll meet, I'll go… look, I have, a really full, incredible life. I wear a lot of hats. I typically get back to my friends in a week or two. Like, that's just who I am. I have a lot of unread messages, a lot of unread emails, and it's because I take the time, and I shut out my phone. I don't answer if I can't give you my full, undivided attention. And I hope that you respect that as a friend, because I want you to have 100% for me. But my 100% can't be every day, so sorry about it. But they will, they will respect that, and I find that a lot of people… you are giving the permission for them to do the same in their life. Nobody wants… I haven't… they don't even realize they're doing it. That I often find all my friends and family members are like, no, I love this about you. I love that I get this full version of you when I get you, and I love that you put those boundaries up towards yourself, and I've actually implemented it too. They go off to go and implement similar things. So it's kind of an inspiration to people.
Yeah, it feels like a… I'm excited to re-listen to this, because there was so much good information.
She's like…
A life upgrade into… because our kids and our family, I think, immediate, are our easiest mirrors to what we're holding, but obviously, like you said, it's happening everywhere, so. Other ones, there's just a… I can feel a peace about it if I can really just hone in on some of these things we talked about today.
Yeah, it was a really good webinar, as always. It was really impactful. Yeah, we'll get, we'll get the replay up. Thanks for you guys hanging on. Everyone dropped, like, flies throughout. You guys, we're holding strong! We'll get the replay up, we're gonna do the Q&A Friday. And then, for those of you guys that are doing Dark Forces, that will be Thursday. New podcast Thursday, so we've got lots of fun things going on. But let us know. Let us know how this feels. Listen to the replay. It's gonna be, like Sarah said, a multiple replay type of webinar. We dove into a lot of different avenues, and as always, what I want you guys to do with these replays… is you really have to go… what applies to me today? Because what's really cool about the way my intuition works, and the way my higher self works, and the way that I design these webinars, is you could come back from now and be in the premium membership a year from now, listen to this webinar, and get something in a grade 3 instead of where you are maybe in a grade kindergarten right now. So it is multi-layered. Meant and designed to meet a lot of different grades, and you'll only hear the grades you're currently in.
So when you go back to listen to the replay, there's gonna be one or two things that you're like, this really applies to me. This really applies to where I'm at in my life today, and I'm gonna take this, and I'm gonna run with it. And then… when you go back to listen to the replay, like I said, 6 months, 9 months, a year, 5 years down the line, you'll hear something entirely new and be able to be like, this applies to me. So it's a really cool way that we've designed these, but listen to the replay, don't get overwhelmed by all the things, take one thing that you're like, this is where I am right now, this is what I want to work on.
1.
I did not say 6, I said 1.
Alright, one! And then, you know, let us know in school, let us know what you're working on, let us know your moments. When we reinforce that, and we go, this is what I found out in this webinar, this was my click, there's something about taking the time, writing it out, taking the time to tell your community, even reflecting enough to put it into words that it kind of, like, supercharges your field a little bit, because you're taking… it's almost like proving to yourself and the universe and those around you that it really was that big of a click. It's almost like if it stays in our mind, it just gets, like, stipended a little bit, but when we write it out, and we have it on paper, and we allow other people to comment on it, other people to give feedback, it almost, like, supercharges and amplifies it in your field, because you're showing the universe source, your guides, everything, that you're taking it to the next step. You're actually, like, doing something about it, you're writing about it, you're receiving feedback on it, and they're going, dang, she's serious. So that's a really cool aspect of school, too, and commenting, and sharing, and doing all that, so…
Lots of good stuff today, ladies! Thanks for hanging out with me for such a long time, and I will see those of you guys throughout the week, that you guys are hopping into different opportunities, and… yeah. I hope you guys have a good rest of your day.
It is. So much good. I made notes, so, so much good to just sit and reflect on today.
Good. Alright, well, I will see you guys later this week. Have a wonderful rest of your week. Goodbye! Thank you for your husband for joining us this morning. I kind of was like, did I make that up? That confirmation was great.
I was like, oh, oh my gosh.
Joining us! You'll be like, oh, too much, bye! What is this chick talking about? I'm not in a parenting class. What's going on? Oh my gosh, cute. Alright, we'll see you guys later. Have a wonderful day.
